The PMI-PBA credential acknowledges an individual’s expertise in business analysis, and using these tools and techniques to improve the overall success of projects. This global credential carries a high level of professional credibility. It requires an unique combination of business analysis, experience working on projects, and examination on business analysis principles, practices, tools and techniques. This credential also supports professionals in meeting the needs of companies that rely on business analysis practitioners to play important roles on their project teams.

Inaccurate requirements gathering is the second highest cause of project failures. Yet only 50% of organizations have resources in place to perform this job properly, based on PMI 2015 Pulse of the Profession® research. Moving towards 2019, over half of organizations are expected to see an increase in their demand for BAs as well as the integration of requirements management and business analysis with project management.

This workshop enables participants to:

• A solid framework for Business Analysis
• Essential information to prepare for the PMI-PBA certification exam
• Define or review a business problem or opportunity using problem and opportunity analysis techniques in order to develop a solution scope statement and to provide input to create a business case
• Define strategy for requirements traceability using traceability tools and techniques in order to establish the level of traceability necessary to monitor and validate the requirements
• Analyze, decompose, and elaborate requirements using techniques such as dependency analysis, interface analysis, and data and process modeling in order to collaboratively uncover and clarify product options and capabilities
• Manage changes to requirements by assessing impacts, dependencies, and risks in accordance with the change control plan, and comparing to the requirements baseline in order to maintain the integrity of the requirements and associated artifact
• Evaluate the deployed solution using valuation techniques in order to determine how well the solution meets the business case and value proposition
• Pass the PMI-PBA exam on your first attempt

During this period, we will monitor the progress of our students. If the students have any questions regarding the exam and course contents, the student could email us and we will reply with our answers.
